  • Failing to See the Trees for the Forest

There is no forest. There are only trees. The “forest” is a human fabrication, an abstraction that exists only in our minds. Abstractions serve a purpose in human communication, certainly. Let’s not try to deny that. However, we must never forget what they really are and that they only...

Yeah I must agree, that was a really entertaining debate. Stef you were extrememly gracious. I still think (in my subjective personal opinion) that qtronman was a 'bit of an asshole', a bit rude or obnoxious and whatnot - but it was a very entertaining debate never the less. I give him props...

  • Real Property in a Stateless Society

So I've been following Stef's videos for the past few days, sort of playing them in the background, and found that market anarchism is actually much more intruiging than I had previously assumed, having now heard it presented in a rational fashion. I'm very familiar with libertarianism, the...

  • Anarchist vs anarchist - peace proposal

Why do anarchist disagree with each other? There is a main idea in the anarchist ideology. If you live within a system maintained by threatening your freedom without you endangering the freedom of others, you are already enslaved. The government collect taxes, and if you choose not to pay, the government...

  • socialistic anarchism - anarchokapitalistic dito enemies. Why?

Here are three topic suggestions about the divition between socialistic anarcists and anarcho-capitalists. I'd also appreciate links to all podcasts related in any way to socialistic anarchism. Suggestion 1. There seem to be a large divition between anarchists. One so large, that many don't even...

  • Re: Investigating and prosecuting homicide in a stateless society

Some hypotheticals: DRO firms take on investigations because it is good for their reputation, it adds to their portfolio which looks good for potential clients. I for one would sign up for a DRO with the best record of solving/investigating crimes and protecting people, *especially the poorest* - because...

  • Subscribe to Anarchy In Your Head Comics

I've implemented a mailing list that does not involve Google groups. Google has been problematic for a number of people. Some of you may have started to subscribe before and gotten discouraged. Some people don't want to have to get a Google account in order to subscribe. Others were willing but...

  • Anarchy Cartoonist

Well I've posted but not properly introduced myself, so here goes. I knew of Stefan and his podcasts, but I didn't know there was a forum here until someone mentioned that they'd seen a cartoon of mine here. Actually I think it was Stefan. I emailed him on YouTube, about a cartoon I'd...
