  • Yet another friend dilema.

I have come to realize that most of the people in my life who I believed were valuable to me are actually quite distructive. Actually, everyone besides my husband. There is one person in particular that I am having a difficult time letting go. I have known this girl for many years, although in retrospect...

  • RTR outside the family

I was wondering if there were any differences between the way one would RTR with parents, and with friends. Like, when I'm telling a friend how I'm feeling after something they have said, and they tell me how they feel, what's next? I mean, do we ask each other why we might be feeling that...

  • Re: de-friending

Excellent stuff! I think you can be proud in the fact that you've done two things: 1) Set a positive precedent that will help ensure that you don't end up with friends like that again, and 2) made room for better friends that are worthy of your time. I applaud you and hope you'll keep us...

  • I literally can't keep a job. Internal problem with authority.

Inability to submit: The last few jobs I've had I've lost almost instantly because I can't handle any kind of force pressuring me to do something I simply don't want to do. Recently I was working for ASDA (Walmart in the uk). I worked as a product collector for the internet shopping part...

i, as a social 17 year old, will probably have a harder time, practically and emotionally, with defooing than any adult. i suppose being an adult comes with a sense of aloofness, and i don't have that yet. i don't and can't get away from my dad. he's an atheist, so that's not the...

  • Re: How's this for an introduction??

Thanks for the responses so far! My problem is that I'm rather antagonistic about the whole issue because it bothers me. And I don't really have patience. And I feel in some part of my mind that it isn't something that SHOULD bother me - it isn't my problem and I shouldn't pick at...

  • How's this for an introduction??

gosh I think I've just bolloxed up things with my "partner." I had intended to write a proper introductory post, and one about FDR 033 (I've downloaded all the episodes and am listening to such as strike my fancy...). But, since I've started listening, about a week and a half ago...

  • Statist Friends

OK, 'fess up: who here has statist friends? Have you done the whole white-board/bubble chart market anarchy talk with them? How did it go? Thankfully, I have a wonderful relationship with someone who sees the world for what it is and is very supportive of my steps to self-development. But regarding...
