So I just bought a creative zen a while ago and although it fixes a lot of things I hated about the ipod, I'm starting to discover some of its quirks. The biggest issue I've been having is that some of the older podcasts dont play at the proper spot when I go back to my bookmarks. So I'll bookmark a podcast 15 min in but when I load the bookmark back up it will be playing at 5 min but still say 15 min on the display. This also causes the timer to go past the length of the podcast. I havent really been able to find any help on the internet, but I'm wondering if it has something to do with the way the older podcasts were encoded because it seems to work fine with newer podcasts. Anyone have any ideas? 

You might try updating the Zen's firmware.  I've had similar problems with older podcasts with my ipod though, but I've heard with the Zen a firmware update might fix it.

 Nope, I have the latest firmware. I also just tried bookmarking the latest call in show and it seems like it skipped forward this time. I'm not sure if its strictly an FDR thing, I'll have to try some other podcasts to find out.
