    This poor girl tried to kill herself... I feel enough anger to want to kill her father and the man who was going to "trade" his 13yo. daugther to the father of the 16yo.

    It amazes me that almost all of the comments involve how disgusting it is that a 75 year old man wants a 16 year old bride, but few mention how the institution of arranged (forced) marriages at ANY age is horrible.
