    UPB regarding free speech...

Is it an objective right that people can publicly lie to groups of other people?
    Is that an inate right?

Or is it immoral to censor things in certain situaions?

    I can't decide.
I know that we generally agree that a parent lying to his kid for years is immoral.
We consider religion pushed on children to be immoral.
Does that apply to adults speaking publicly, too?

The question in regards to free speech is: Should violence or coercion be used to control what they are saying? No.

I think they are wrong for the same reason the parent is wrong, for being dishonest and drilling crazy shit into children's heads.

    My question still stands:

    Is censorship moral?

Violence, of course, is out of the question.
    That's pretty much given.

If you're not talking about violence what do you mean by censorship?  If you mean disassociating from others I'd say that's "moral" so long as it's non-coercive.

Take those three validictorian speeches posted on another thread
(if you haven't watched them.....I hope you have a strong stomach).

Was it moral for the school to cut off two of the girls?

Let's assume that they were unrehearsed,
and there was absolutely no school policy regulating it.
    Would it be immoral then?

No, it wouldn't be immoral to cut a mic.  Their stage, their mics, they can do as they please as long as they don't shoot 'em or something.  Whether they're right or socially correct (more a matter of aesthetics) in doing so is different, but it wouldn't be immoral.
