I am willing to pay anyone who will do a good job, $25 bucks to make a good video for my FDR inspired song.

I realize this may be a bit self serving, but I am looking for someone to make a good video for "If I Die For Nothing."

It is a song about a soldier from my home town who died in Afganistan. 

Anyways, for anyone who will spend some time making a fitting and quality video, I will donate $25 to FDR in your name.  The requirements for the video are that it relates to the song, and has "visit freedomainradio.com" prominately displayed throughout it.

I know it isnt a lot of money, i would love to pay more if I could. But, as we all understand, it isn't about money.

I would love to as I enjoy your songs but I got nothing when it comes movie making software.

What kind of video are you looking for?  Like....do you have any preferences for the images/video clips you would like in it?  

Do you want to be able to like...show it somewhere?  Maybe what I'm trying to ask is do you want media in the video thats in the public domain and not copyrighted?

I used to do little music videos years ago..and I really like the song.  Hrm...

 I would like to put the song on Stef's youtube channel for freedomainradio.  He has one of my other videos that Greg made there.   It has got quite a few views.  The idea would be to get as many views as possible for the song.  We could post it everywhere.

The video could be whatever you would like, although I have had some ideas myself.  What originally inspired the song was a guy who I once knew (although not too well) who died in Afganistan.  He fell down an unmarked well.  He was about 25, I think.  There was no reason for him to be there, but his dad was the head of the military cadets in his hometown and I guess that was all he ever knew. 

i thought it might be interesting to put the names of the soldiers who died in Afganistan on the bottom. Although I now question how effective that would be, compared to some kind of picture/video thing that follows the song a bit more.   I find the notion of peace keepers so orwellian.

I would just like the video to make people think.  Not so much about who died, but how futile and pointless their deaths were.  It is sad, but I think it is important.  I want to stress that they literally died for nothing at all.

Just a thought, there could be some kind of message, perhaps a list of things to live for with nice pictures, and then a list of things (illusions) that are so stupid to die for....country, race, culture, ect.

I am not sure how you could word it, but perhaps something like :

These are things to live for, not die for.  War is never the answer...ever. 

And for sure, something that would be a good link to freedomainradio.com

Maybe stef could suggest a hook line, but something about how only philosophical understanding will end violence and then an invitation to join freedomainradio.com
