Just wanted to update everyone on my situation. As far as the job thing goes I did email in my resume (which is a tad unusual) and I have used my school's free counseling center and found me somebody to talk to on one day every week.  The bad part about that is I arrived there early and nobody was available except one guy and he happens to be a graduate student who has taken classes with me before. It turned out okay anyway and plan on continuing.

I'd like to thank Ned and Jon (freebie) for editing my resume and thanks to everyone for the support. Let's see how this goes.

 My experience with trying to get somebody's attention over there has been frustrating thus far. The ad said to only contact this certain woman by phone, but after leaving two messages and calling there several times I have not been able to reach this person. Only after calling the last time did I finally talk to somebody other than the lady I wanted to contact and she asked me to email my resume to her. That seemed unusual given what I've had to in order to get somebody's attention thus far. I don't know, I guess things are hectic over there or something. I still have a bad feeling about this job, but I'll continue to persue it.

And thanks for the offer. I may need to restructure my resume if I go after a different kind of job if this doesn't work out.

 That's an excellent question. My past experience with jobs is that I don't have any experience working other than volunteering a little during high school, and that was a negative working experience for me. There is also the issue that this job has (at least on paper) seemed like the best job for me compared to other jobs I've found advertised, so I am a little desperate in getting this particular job. Right now I am having difficulty in determining whether those two reasons above are the cause of my bad feelings towards this job offering, or whether I really am getting indications that this is not the right job.

I will bring this up during my next meeting with my counselor and see what I can dig up. The last meeting was mainly about my parents, and next time I can bring in some other issues I'm having.
