New here and not sure if this is the correct place to post this....

Anyways, I was wondering about donations. Can I only donate in canadian dollars? Do you not take our FRNs that are legal tender for all debts, public and private? I can understand if you don't, but I am just wondering.

I wanted to throw $20 your way and not sure how that would work using PayPal. I am new at that as well.

Paypal automatically converts the currency. So, say you pay $20 CAD. Well, Paypal deducts the equivalent from your balance, your credit card, or what have you.

Paypal automatically converts the currency if you're going to donate a certain amount from your paypal account.

However... if you sign up for a subscription and you do not have a credit card linked to your paypal account it makes to payments via "echecks." It converts the currency by taking it out of your checking account and converting it that way. This can take upwards of a week sometimes...
