Alice Miller posts excerpt from RTR book.

I thought it was good to hear from Bockman that after he sent Alice Miller the excerpt from RTR about Simon the Boxer that she posted it on her site, along with the link to download the entire book!

Hopefully this will promote the book more, expecially because such a well known psychologist has shown that she really likes it! :)

    Here's the page . . .

    From the above link:

    Alice Miller:

AM: Many thanks for your letter and the chapter written by Molyneux. It was actually a great pleasure, because the chapter shows that M. very well understood the dynamic of child abuse that I tried to explain already in 1980 in the Drama of the gifted child, without being as well understood by many. Unfortunately, I can't open the pdf of his book. Do you have the possibility of sending me the text in the WORD system? Anyway, thank you very much for this information.

It would be really cool if she was able to read the whole book and comment on it. Good to see stef getting some recognition from the main stream

hmm, that's really cool. I really respect the work of Alice Miller, so it's good to know that she's on the same page...

curiously enough Alice-Miller.com is blocked in China...

anyhow her site is interesting, I'm reading an essay of hers (an afterword to a book) and the idea that migraines and generalized chronic pain conditions can be the result of childhood trauma. I think that's a fantastic idea, and I've had chronic migraines since I was... thirteen I think, and it seems like it's what she talks about.

Funny thing about the migraines is I guess they're a pressing incentive to get help and sort these kinds of things out.
