Nathaniel Branden - Sentence Completion Exercises

I'm most of the way though Six Pillars at the moment and I am wondering if anyone has done the sentence completion exercises Brandon reccomends and what kind of results they have had? He has a 31 week program in the book and I have been thinking of giving it a shot. Anyone thats had experience with them please chime in!

I read it too, about 3 months ago, and started doing the stem exercises.  I found them to be enormously powerful, when Branden says they're a shot of adrenaline to the psyche, he isn't kidding.  The 10 or so days I did them were fantastic, followed by a monumental fall. (self-attack, I think)  I'm still screwing up the courage to start again.

If you give it a shot, tell me how it goes. :)

I haven't read Six Pillars yet, but he has a great many of them in Art of Living Consciously. I've done them for a couple of weeks now and have come up with some amazing patterns. I'd really recommend doing them.

    All,

Thank you for posting on this!

I've listened to the books but forgot about these.  I'm going to do them.

For those who are interested, the basics are here with a link to the stem questions.

Thanks again for jogging my memory and sharing your success stories.

Thanks for posting that link, Worger! This idea looks so cool. I'm just finishing up some other Stef-recommended books (Alice Miller, Malcolm Gladwell) and when I take them back to the library, will be sure to grab Branden's Pillars. Fascinating idea, these sentence stems.

Hey Ash. I did them, and I think they're really worthwhile. It's quite a bit of effort and time and can feel quite repetitive, but it's great for dredging up all that interesting sludge from the subconscious that we need to know about. Hope it works for you!
