    Laura, here's your next cello

    This is a remarkable achievement, in my opinion. The sound is amazingly rich and vibrant:

    Funny you should post this. I saw an ad for it recently and thought I'd try one out on my next trip to Boston. I don't exactly need another cello right now, but it would be nice to have an instrument that was not sensitive to changes in humidity. Thanks for the YouTube video.

    this is definately a late reply on my part!  Thank you, Bockman!

    I've seen the Luis & Clarks (online only) - & it will be my next cello!   I think they are fantastic.

    Karl, Please let me know when you get a chance to play one.  I'd love to hear what you think of it.  :)

    There aren't many out there yet.  I expect prices to climb soon as interest peaks. 

    The 1st made was a prototype, the 2nd was considered perfect & kept by Luis, the 3rd belongs to Yo-Yo Ma.  Smile
