Freedomain Radio 20 million downloads. The largest and most popular philosophical conversation in the world.
I have been reading some of the articles that have been published by the International Psychohistory Association.
This wonderful organization has been conducting decades of research into the effects of child abuse and neglect on larger historical movements and events such as revolutions and wars.
Hundreds of scholars have combed decades of primary source research materials to create compelling cases for child abuse as the source of personal and social violence.
Reading psychohistory can be harrowing, depressing and emotionally difficult to process. The case seems clear that children are the most abused, neglected, assaulted, raped and murdered 'minority' in history - and also that the progress of our species seems to be synonymous with progress in parenting.
I strongly urge you to have a listen to these articles, and also to visit the psychohistory website to learn more about this radical and powerful approach to understanding history, and the current world.

I am taking on the project of reading this book -- currently a work in progress -- as an audio book, to make the extraordinary material available to a wider audience. The book will not be finished until 2010, but in the meantime, please enjoy this wonderful material, recorded and released with the permission of the author.
